Homeland season finale 3

Brody was looking to try and get off of a heroin addiction that he developed in Venezuela. Saul and Dar Adal suggested that he use an experimental drug that can help people to fix their addictions but can cause hallucinations. After going through rehab, Saul offers Brody a deal to possibly get back into the Marines. Brody then said that he’d rather die, thus prompting some men to see if he’s tried to swim back to surface after being thrown off a boat. He does not try swimming back, thus giving the suggestion that he’s honest.
After leaving the hospital, Carrie told Saul that Lockhart is aware of some things about him but it’s uncertain as to what’s entailed. Saul told Carrie that he wants Brody to take out the leader of a revolutionary party in Iran. This would be to get Javadi to be the top man in charge. Brody would go into Iran as political asylum and state that he was the bomber.
Locklear delayed his confirmation after Saul plans to leak some calls about an affair to the public. Brody then left for Tehran.
